North to the border...

Decided to leave Baja behind as I just didn't want to deal with Semana Santa week.  Big holiday period for the Mexican's wherein the beaches are overrun with parties.  Crowds are not my idea of a good time.  Much less intoxicated ones.  Driving that week is suppose to be one of the worst times for fatalities here as well.  Rather than lay up somewhere for the week decided to go ahead and work my way north and cross the border earlier than planned.  Ended up doing some back roads en-route where I worked my way from the Sea of Cortez side back to the Pacific and then back to the Sea of Cortex side one last time.  Petey and I had a great time in Baja and hope to return next winter.  Photo dump of the trip back to the north.  Currently in Arizona.....updates soon.

Border's that way!

Fishing for spotted dogfish in Bahia de Los Angeles.

Remote campsite on the pacific side.

You are fortunate to be able to cross over the Baja from the Sea of Cortez to the Pacific. I've been able to cross it twice in a Polaris rzr from Mulege to San Juanico and back. It was two years after their big Hurricane and we saw lots of carnage from the flash floods. Awesome trip, but I probably won't go across again. Ran into some cartel look outs who let us go when they were convinced that we were not with the DEA. I don't want to try that twice. Other than that, it was an awesome trip. Enjoy your self!
